Couldn't have said it better. And to those who say there is not much oil in eastern Syria, perhaps but we are not talking abut feeding a nation. It was plenty enough for ISIS. 10,000 barrels a day, which is about how much Exxon spills in good day, is worth $20m a month. Do you know how many fighters you can buy with that much money? Iran is broke and can't afford to pay their new baby Hezbollahs they have created in Iraq. That oil goes a long way.
I think the better question would be:
"Do you know how many US military lives it could cost to get that much money?"
Better yet, we should have stayed out of Iraq in the first place. And in case you've forgotten, George W. Bush and the Republicans got us into that war.
And all the Democrats voted for it. Then Obama escalated Iraq, and Afghanistan and got us into Libya and Syria. Trump is the first one fighting the Military Industrial Complex to try to GET US OUT.

21 Dems voted against. All Pubs but 2 voted for it. And a Pub president made the call to invade. The Pubs own the war in Iraq.

No, Obama didn't escalate Iraq.
Do you want US out of the area? It seems we are not getting out since we are sending in heavy armor to guard the oil.
It's always been about the oil. Or the money, or whatever. It's never been about protecting nations, helping refugees, etc. It's ALWAYS about the money and the power no matter who is in office. The military industrial complex lives on.
ISIS was being funded by oil money. Keeping it from them DOES help nations, refugees etc. President Trump has spoken about sharing it among other nations. Quit believing the corrupt media lies.

Pubs? What party was Obama in? He had EIGHT YEARS to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan yet chose to ESCALATE both and get us into two NEW WARS, Libya and Syria. The Democrats CHOSE TO STAY INT IRAQ. Own it or be a hypocrite.

By end of 2008, there were 150K US troops in Iraq.
How much did Obama escalate it? How many were there by the end of 2009, 2010 and 2011?
I'll tell you.
2009 110K
2010 48K
2011 13K
As for Libya, we never really had any combat troops there.
Trump has not won any war! He just pulled out of Turkey because he was threatened by Ergdogon and Putin. Trump does whatever Putin tells him to. He got all his money from Russian Oligarchs and thought he could turn America into a Russian-style Oligarchy. Apparently he thought we would just sit idly by and let him. He is quite a fool. Low information voters believed his ridiculous promises.
Isis Leader Al-Bagbdadi Killed in U.S.-Led Military Operation in Northern Syria
That's a fact.
Here's another fact... Americans killed by Isis and thusly honored by Trump's recent decision this weekend... James Foley, Steven Sotloff, Peter Kassig, and Kayla Mueller.
God Bless our President and our fine Nation.

So you think that the U.S. was wrong to invade a nation who was no threat whatsoever so that Halliburton, etc. could make a ton of money.
