Socialism and communism are hot, capitalism is not (polls, radical, compare)

A friend recently married a Cuban woman. She thinks Americans who want socialism are crazy. When he took her to a large shopping mall for the first time, she burst into tears. She had never seen so many items for sale in one place in her life. He bought her a carload of clothes! I warned him to hide the credit cards until she gets a job. He's middle class but compared to Cuba, he's rich.
No...its the road that the free market eventually arrives at. Aside from strong government intervention how do you propose we stop the top two breweries from eventually taking over the remaining percentage of the beer market?
why assume they need stopping? maybe they are the top two because a majority of consumers prefer their products over others.
"The combined fortunes of the world's 26 richest individuals reached $1.4 trillion last year — the same amount as the total wealth of the 3.8 billion poorest people.

Oxfam recommends that nations tax wealth at fairer levels, raise rates on personal income and corporate taxes and eliminate tax avoidance by companies and the super-rich. It also advocates providing universal free health care, education and other public services — andensuring that women and girls also benefit. And it suggests investing in public services — including water, electricity and childcare — to free up women's time and limit the number of unpaid hours they work."

So shear instead of skin, but how to do it without the people with means to do so changing their behavior? Hmmm...
Tax adjustments ... if their taxes are increased they change their behavior and if their taxes are decreased they change their behavior ... that is how it is they will always have money for their own.

Just made me think of the cyclical nature of people wanting government to be their boss, parents, savior, provider, etc...and what a Faustian Bargain that all is.
The government has a boss and if you do not know who that is, here is a hint ... it isn't us.
We live in a system of finance today, everyone does.
The system has to deconstructed. Without that nothing will be fixed.
By deconstruction, you mean slaughtering bunch of people.
You plan to make them an offer that either their brain or their money will be handed over to you.
