No, because none of the Republicans voted YEA.
That proves this is 100% political, 0% legal.

PS - Trump WILL be impeached by the House. The GOP controlled Senate MAY save him from removal. THAT is actually the outcome I am hoping for (and expect). I WANT Trump atop the GOP ticket next year so that the stench of Trump covers the entire GOP.
