McDonalds is so lame. There used to be a photo of a cattle rustler hanging from the end of a rope at a Dairy Queen in New Mexico. Jack Black Ketchum or something like that, it was on display year round. So, you were standing in line waiting to order looking at that, lol.
Of course I played hangman. But then I was and am a white Southerner. None of my ancestors ever hung from a tree. We don't get to judge for others what should or should not offend them. We can only judge for ourselves. We should not belittle them with "wetting their pants" comments or talking bout "man buns" they may or may not wear. When folks do, it says more about them than those they are talking about.
Maybe folks feel more free to share their opinions now on what offends them. Maybe social media spreads it. Maybe we just notice it more. Maybe they don't fear backlash as much now as they may have then. I'm not saying we have to share their sensitivities, but resorting to nameacalling is actually the wrong thing to do. I'd rather live in an age where folks feel free to tell me how they feel than one where they are afraid of folks like some where who put them down for what they feel
This may come as a total shock to you, but there have been people of all races who have been hanged. Check it out, "hanging" has been used for thousands of years as a means of execution and murder.
Back in the 90's when my husband was out of work, I stuffed his suit and tie, attached a pumpkin head, and hung it from a tree on front lawn with his briefcase on the ground. Hung a sign on it saying "Off Shored" for Halloween.
Its as if some of these SJW'ers just landed here from another planet.
"Definitely not appropriate," one user commented. "Why are we associating Halloween with lynching which obviously this is undoubtedly a display of such an act."
