Gods program has been running in the background since the world began bringing things into alignment with that program. Central focus is on Israel. We know that ALL nations (including USA) will be gathered at Armegeddon to fight against Israel and will be destroyed. So our trend line will continue downward spiritually until the Tribulation, which is consistent with what we see out the window. The USA is NOT mentioned in the book so draw your own conclusions.

Note I said evangelicals, not just Christians or Protestants. Can you point me to a presidential election where the evangelical vote went to the Democrat?

I understand what you are saying, but it's definitely not unanimous support.
A lot of people believe Trump has been chosen by God to restore America to it's traditional, Christian values and end abortion, marriage equality, and bring the Bible back to the classroom. In fact, this is a core reason for why he's so popular and why he can pretty much get away with whatever he wants. He's giving the Christian Right power that a few years ago they never could have dreamed of. They are finally getting "revenge" against the people they believe have oppressed them over the past decades.
So with this in mind, do you believe Trump was chosen by God?
All Good Things Come From God, so that is my answer.. I look at the fruit and it looks good since Trump got in. Yes , Trump was chosen,, by the American people . Jesus said look at the fruit of the tree. The fruit is stopping MS 13 members invading us. Fighting the lethal drugs coming over the border.
More money that the people have in their paychecks to spend. Right to try a new drug if you are terminally ill. Better healthcare for our Veterans. Creating jobs . Taking people off of public assistance and making them independent and giving them self worth.
Working on fair trade. New trade deals that are fair . Supporting the rule of law. Supporting our gun rights. Supporting Christians . Supporting our sovereignty . Rejecting trade deals that take away our sovereignty . Supporting blacks with legislation for non violent offenders. Taking out ISIS. Building up the moral of our military and funding a strong military. Yes, President Trump is good for America. Thank God.

IF he was chosen by god, it was not to restore anything, but to be used as God's tool to pass judgment against the US. He is a curse.
Has he restored any of the above things? Not a single one.
My former religious side kind of sees it this way. Even if I were still religious there's absolutely no way I could support Trump. In fact I was still on the fence on religion when he was elected and all I could think of was Isaiah 3.
