CBD still has THC in it. Get a narco test kit and see for yourself.

Which studies and what do you mean by "skunk?"

I wrote a fairly detailed post on the previous page debunking your claim, but if you have studies, please post them and also define what you mean when you say "skunk," because skunk is just another strain of cannabis that is not particularly potent when compared to more modern hybrids.

CBD is a chemical that is completely distinct from THC. While there is no strain of cannabis that can have CBD but no THC, CBD is a distinct chemical and, in its pure form, does not have THC in it.

You really seem to know nothing about cannabis, T-310.

The corrupt DEA are the ones who have the power to re-schedule drugs as they please though...that is a BIG problem in my opinion!! They are a Govt agency, not elected representatives of the people, they really should not have this power, plus its a HUGE conflict of interest for them, as they 'benefit' from a drug being illegal.

Dissolving the DEA would be a good start at ending this drug war and probably charging them all with aiding and abetting criminal organizations among other crimes.

A lot of people out there trying to get high on the sidewalks in the denser, well travelled parts of bigger cities. Tourists can't even wait on Powell and Market for a cable car without having to endure drugs smoked in the open in public wafting through their air.

Inhalants used to be regulated.

And these are the people we are all supposed to look up to and respect as the "moral conscience" of our society? I get that the Christian Right believes that marijuana is an intoxicant and that using any substance to become intoxicating is sinful. They also believe that the culture that is stereotypically associated with cannabis is a detriment to the moral fabric of our society. But do we have to lie in order to maintain prohibition, especially when people who have a genuine medical need are involved?

Since prohibition was based on a lie (several actually), they feel that is the best way to keep prohibition. From the below linked article:

"Rep. Watson Coleman’s resolution also details racial bias and propaganda that have fueled drug prohibition. It notes that in 1937, Federal Bureau of Narcotics Commissioner Harry J. Anslinger was openly racist in congressional testimony. “I wish I could show you what a small marijuana cigarette can do to one of our degenerate Spanish speaking residents. That’s why our problem is so great; the greatest percentage of our population is composed of Spanish-speaking persons, most of who are low mentally, because of social and racial conditions,” he said.

H. Res. 933 also notes the racial and political motives behind President Richard Nixon’s policies. Nixon formally declared the War on Drugs in 1971, saying drug abuse was “public enemy number one.”
But in 1994, Nixon aide John Ehrlichman admitted that the policy was really an effort to control liberals and blacks.
“We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did,” he said."

"Marijuana Use Linked to Changes in the Brain"
https://www.livescience.com/48848-ch...n-changes.html

"Duke University psychologist Terrie Moffitt, PhD, and colleagues collected data from the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study, longitudinal research that has followed 1,000 New Zealanders born in 1972. Participants answered questions about marijuana use at 18, 21, 26, 32 and 38. They also underwent neuropsychological testing at ages 13 and 38.

The team found that persistent marijuana use was linked to a decline in IQ, even after the researchers controlled for educational differences."

MJ was originally made illegal because it supposedly made black men want to have sex with white women, according to the college textbook in a substance abuse treatment class. That was in the 1930s.
