Second-hand hearsay is not "whistleblowing", it's just leaking. And this guy has already proven he's a partisan leaker who kept his dealings with Adam Schiff away from the inspector general. Funny how Schiff has quit talking about the leaker after it was learned that they were collaborating.
The whistleblower is irrelevant. It has been corroborated by a dozen people. As someone noted today, it's like when the first person reports a fire. Then everyone can see the fire. Trump is guilty flat out.

If the GOP gives Trump a pass on the crap he's pulled--shadow state dept, extortion of allies--all future presidents will be able to do the same thing or worse. It would be lowering the bar to the basement. Precedents have consequences.

According to the researched outline, Ciaramella worked closely with Democrat operative, Alexandra Chalupa in 2016 to advance the anti-Trump effort; and this year Ciaramella worked closely with HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff’s staff to continue his efforts.

NOBODY is supposed to say that they know it is Ciaramella OR his connections to Biden/Obama/Brennan and the Coup. You could be in real trouble.

Yeah, this was bogus. There was no legal basis for going to the IG. They conspired to pretend this report was within the IG's jurisdiction.
So what if it's Ciaramella? It's a moot point now. Everything he wrote in the whistleblower report has been confirmed by multiple witnesses, some first hand. The transcript confirms it. Even Fox News confirmed that the Ukraine scandal was more than a phone call, it was a "coordinated effort" to extort Ukraine into participating in our election.
He worked with Schiff's staffers at the NSC. He knew them very well. Alex Chalupa was in his pocket.

The investigators of Benghazi included members of the GOP.... Clinton should have used the "only my own party can investigation or be a whistle blower" defense. I'm pretty sad what happened to my GOP.
That makes no sense. The Democrats complaint in this instance is that someone from the other party wants to investigate possible wrongdoing by Democrats.
Not one person said the whistleblower lied though. The whistleblower told the truth and there is proof of this.
We know he lied when he submitted his report to the IG by falsely representing that it was an "urgent concern" under the statute. It wasn't, but he and the IG were in cahoots. Yes, he's a liar, and this is nothing but a conspiracy to defraud the public
Also, the "fruit of the poison tree" argument only works if the information was illegally obtained. I have yet to see anyone make a case that the whistleblower broke a law or went outside of normal reporting parameters.
It's an undeniable fact that he went outside of normal reporting parameters. He illegally reported to the IG instead of (or in addition to) reporting it in the normal chain of command.
