Trump did not blackmail Ukraine, Biden did. You people only concocted a wild conspiracy theory that told yourselves Trump might have done that, just like you all did the same thing to convince yourselves Trump colluded with Russians.
If Ukraine's investigation into the VP Biden showed no corruption by Joe to use his position as VP to enrich or protect Hunter Biden, then no one would know. Remember, Trump did not say anything about the Biden deal, it was some Trump-hating deep stater decided to leak his version of the Ukraine phone call.
I think secretly you all know that any investigations into the Joe and Hunter Biden deals in Ukraine, China and Romania, etc... will show a pattern of corruption, and influence peddling. you fear we might find out that Joe used his position as VP as a corrupt money making opportunity. That's why you people phrase it as "digging up dirt on Biden," because you fear that we investigate it, that it will reveal dirt and corruption.
I truly do not understand their thinking. They're fighting tooth and nail against the impeachment process, yet, whether you hate him or love him, no one can deny this administration has been wrought with one controversy after another. His "best people" have been resigning left and right and he doesn't seem to ever listen to his staffers. Such a high maintenance presidency.
So, my question is this: if you're a Senate Republican, why not just vote for his impeachment in order to get Pence? Seems to me that moving the VP into the executive position would make everybody's lives easier. You'd have a fellow conservative Republican towing the usual party line, but without a bunch of fires to put out every week, no butt-kissing to Putin and the world's autocrats, no more alleged, security threats, no more ridiculous tweets everyday, no more rallies, etc., etc., etc. Would he not be Trump Pt II, minus the epic drama? You'd think they'd like that.
They're all touching the Messiah! Some of them are satisfied to just be touching someone else who is touching him.
