Since one doesn't seem to have to do with the other, you're going to go with that?
ND, use to be a tropical paradise, today it is not. What was there when it was tropical, migrated to tropic areas of the planet or became an extinct species.
Climate change does happen and has been happening forever with that of evolution of the planet. How we adapt to the evolution of changes will mark the difference between, survival or becoming that which is extinct. (logical and
deducive; it's either on or off and there is no in between)
If you're argument is that human beings should not be taxed ... I'm right there with you. Keep in mind solutions do need finance, however ...
... if you're argument is that global warming is not a problem and there is no evidence there of ... then you will have to show where the sea levels rising has no correlational with the melting polar ice caps and the planet itself is not undergoing a warming trend, as in either part or as a whole.
While you work on that, just to say, massive amounts of people are losing their homelands, because their homeland is under water; (
migration due to climate change in parts of the world, has only just begun)
water makes
up about 71% of
the Earth's surface, while the other 29% consists of continents and islands, which is an interesting fact, given to this situation, that may be real or something some one made up for political gains. (logic will dictate the truth, beyond that of politics)
