A 24-year-old man who hit another man over the head with a baton in June during dueling downtown Portland demonstrations was sentenced Friday to nearly six years in prison.
Gage Halupowski pleaded guilty to second-degree assault in connection with the June 29 attack on Adam Kelly outside The Nines Hotel along Southwest Morrison Street. Halupowski was identified as one of several masked, black-clothed demonstrators seen on video hitting and pepper-spraying Kelly after he appeared to come to the aid of another man who’d been attacked during the protests, authorities said.
Kelly, a right-wing protestor at the demonstrations, wrote on Facebook at the time that the blows to his head led to him suffering a concussion and needing 25 staples to close the wounds.
They mention the injured man as a "right wing protestor".
The perp was mentioned as a masked and black-clothed demonstrator.
This piece of trash social justice warrior has no idea of the ultimate penalty he will pay.
He has a felony record that alone knocks him out of a huge number of job prospects that he could get.
If the company you work for had a job opening for a floor sweeper/toilet cleaner do you think that they would hire somebody with a felony record or somebody without a felony record?

Yes, but my point was that the KKK was prohibited by law to have public rallies/marches with their faces covered.

So yes, as you point out Antifa is much like the KKK and other groups looking to harm those with whom they disagree.
But making them more accountable by keeping their face uncovered will end a lot of this rubbish.
If the police know where to find them and show up to juniors parents house, he is more likely to get thrown out for his criminal behavior.

Not if the SJW's have their way. They want to expunge many a felons past record or even make it illegal for employers to ask or reject their applications based upon past criminal history.
I am all for giving people a 2nd chance, but this idea that an employers cannot screen people that will be entrusted with the keys to their business is insane.
The same with drug testing.
Plus just imagine the legal liability if you hire someone with a criminal record and they attack a customer. You will be sued into bankruptcy and your reputation ruined.
Just recently a delivery man for Best Buy killed a woman he delivered a appliance to. He admitted to "vaping marijuana" earlier.
Yet the politicians who come up with the laws will not make you whole again when their crazy policies have the inevitable consequences.
Even better is he is now a felon. THAT will follow you around.
