The CEO expert poster likely isn't smart enough to know the difference.

The ceo is going to get a nice exit package. He will be alright. Must of us on the other hand will still be part of the struggling class.

You nailed it.

Katie Hill was NOT a victim but an abuser! On top of that she clearly is posing and aware of the cameras.

By now every adult should know that if you let yourself to be photographed naked, that the picture can show up anywhere.

As a proud bi-sexual person, and not taking a relationship serious, on top of dating someone she is superior over and illegal per ethics rules, she knew she was wrong and still try to blame everyone else.

Katie Hill is like Clintons copy cat with the #how many excuses can I come up with and who can I blame!

Fox News is very relevant. It is a textbook example of a corporation that historically condoned, excused and failed to disclose material financial settlements related to harassment and misconduct to shareholders.

Bottom line is that this CEO was held to the same standard as everyone else in the corporation. Only diff is that when the C Suite and/ or talent are dismissed, they typically have an iron clad package.
Looking at Fox News I have to wonder if lower employees were held to the same standards as executives. I see where NBC is now being criticized for the same but their transgressions so not appear to be as widespread or top down as Fox.

The relationship was consensual so I don't see where you get abusive. Katie Hill was wrong in her claim that there is a double standard and was right to resign.

Rather absurd that a McDonald's CEO can still have access to a complete termination package after violation of the companies guidelines. He should have been fired for cause.

Teamsters funds sue McDonald's board over handling of Easterbrook exit

Teamsters Local 237 Additional Security Fund and two affiliates filed a lawsuit against McDonald's Tuesday, claiming leadership chose to pay off ousted former CEO Steve Easterbrook after his sexual misconduct scandal to quickly resolve the problem rather than "face the consequences for the leniency they long exhibited."
The suit claims that when Easterbrook was tapped as CEO by the board, he was romantically involved with a public relations executive responsible for her firm's relationship with McDonald's. The Teamsters funds argue that though this violated company policy, the board chose to overlook the breach in conduct.

What matters is what it said in his contract....not what a teamsters lawyers press release says.

Lawyers press releases are decidedly um "well worded" to create public pressure that may not align with the facts of the matter. (For example, the US womens soccer pay lawsuit)

I recommend finding what his contract had to say about termination etc. before reaching a conclusion.

Note that McD's could also be sued for fighting with the CEO and hurting brand etc. and stock price. Kinda ironic that whatever move they took could lead to a shareholder suit.

Geez, if he lost it all, I hope it was AT LEAST over someone else who was high up in the company like he was, and not just some random high school drop out chick on fries...
