Nevertheless, Latinos still vote for the Democrats at a rate of about 70% overall. They're not single issue voters

The trouble, you start believing your own YouTube crap and actually believe it’s true.

You could add “Grad-exit” and that one would be closer to the truth, but it’s white college grads leaving the Party of Trump, not joining it.
Yep. Total rubbish.

I think this is just total projection, gaslighting or wishful thinking.

I guess some Hispanics don't see the irony of their decisions. It's not all about abortion.

"Hispanic" and "Latino" is not a singular block or identity.

How much does a 4th gen Cuban in Florida have in a common with a newly naturalized Guetemalan? And what does that person have in common with a Puerto Rican from NYC?

Those from Cuba know what it’s like to be ruled by a puppet government of the Kremlin. Lightning has struck twice for them.

They're more likely to vote Republican than Blacks are. Albeit, there are some things you must consider.

1) Hispanics have a lower voter turnout than Blacks do.
2) "Hispanic" can be anyone from Cuban, Puerto Rican, Mexican, to Honduran, Colombian, Venezuelan, etc. Many Cuban-Americans vote Republican. The Cuban-American mayor of Miami, Francis X. Suarez, is a Republican. The previous mayor, Tomas Regalado, is a Republican who was born in Cuba.

The immigration issue might be a factor for some groups, but not others.

True, but most Hispanics/Latinos in our country are of Mexican descent. They vote Democrat while the Cubans tend to vote Republican.

I actually agree with you on the first sentence.

However, you're just dead wrong on your last sentence - the Republicans lost Latinos because they pandered to folks like you with nativist fearmongering, for political expediency.. I'll bet you voted for Prop 187 and Pete Wilson back in 1994. And it backfired big time, at least in California. The Democrats really didn't do much at the time - in fact, Dianne Feinstein was chickens*** in not standing up to Prop 187 back then. It just fell into their lap.

You reap what you sow.

I remember a certain poster who, when not spreading Alex Jones nonsense about gay frogs and lizard people, spent every day leading up to the 2018 election touting “walkaway” and telling us how the Democrats were going to get crushed. I guess some lessons are never learned.
