No. Some East Europeans and Brits( who are not all white moving here) will migrate or expatriate here.

Your best bet is for some Hispanics and Middle Easterners to be socially embraced as white. Dearborn, MI is technically 85% white or Caucasian, for instance.

Yet when they started coming in huge numbers they suffered racist treatment. The KKK was later active against those immigrants, and 11 Italians were massacared in New Orleans in 1871. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_...eans_lynchings Yet the Italians the US attracted were the so called swathy Italians from Southern Italy and Sicily, instead of the more Aryan types of Northern Italy. With that they were also Catholic and there was a backlash in the large amount of those people entering the USA.

In Texas 19 innocent Mexican men and boys were killed by U.S. Cavalry soldiers, and local ranchers in 1918 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porven...s%20and%20men.

Even when there were mass deportations of Mexicans of the USA, they included legal citizens who had deep roots in the USA.

Or the KKK mob killing of the Jew Leo Frank, due to being rumoured to have killed a 13 year old girl. Yet there was no clear evidence he was the killer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leo_Frank

BTW the KKK was instrumental of introducting the 1924 quota act. With that act it prevented the huge amount of Italians and East Europeans immigrating into the USA. Even the Jews in Eastern Europe who were persecuted who previously immigrated to the US enmass, was largely reduced. Sure the Immigration quota act allowed large number of people in places such as Germany, yet as long as they are the Aryan type, and not Jewish. Once the Nazis got into power, the US was reluctant to accept German Jews, and very much restricted them to enter the USA.

Of course people around are against Mexican immigration, yet there was a time when people were against German Jewish, Italian and EAst European immigration, even before that Irish immigrants were disliked in the USA.

Yet even so the US is and always a land of immigrants and the descendant of immigrants.
You bring up past incidental incidents to make your point? The fact remains that we didn't have a large Mexican population here until the illegal invasion of our country.

We aren't opposed to Mexican immigrants that come here legally but we should also keep diversity in mind instead of favoring them and other Latinos in our legal immigration quotas. We are no longer a land of immigrants we are now a nation of mostly U.S. born citizens. The fact that many are descendants of immigrants is completely irrelevant.

Yeah posters like him like to talk about and misconstrue our country's past. Why don't they talk about Mexico's past or China's etc regarding minorities and immigrants, heck talk about their terrible present, and use that as a springboard to discredit these immigrants' culture and people and their suitability immigrating here in the first place.

These quotas were partly inspired by the report of the government’s Dillingham Commission, which claimed that unassimilated, unassimilable immigrants from southern and Eastern Europe threatened the integrity of the US. The reports also claimed to describe differences in intelligence and moral character between immigrants of different ethnicities. https://www.newhistorian.com/2019/01/30/seeking-refuge/ BTW I hear in this forum that Mexicans are different in intelligence and moral character compared to so called real Americans and unable to assimilate.

Sure there were Liberals in the 1930s even within federal level that strived a softening of the immigration policy. which failed as the conservatives got there way : Wagner-Rogers Bill, which would have admitted 20,000 Jewish children into the US n the 1930s , was introduced in both houses of Congress—where it failed to pass out of committees for a general vote. Also in 1939 the ship St Louis, which had taken refugees to Cuba and been turned away, sought admission to the US, which also refused them. The ship and its passengers returned to Europe, where more than 250 of its 900 refugee passengers died in the Holocaust.https://www.newhistorian.com/2019/01/30/seeking-refuge/

Yet despite the phobia of Jews then, without the help of the Jewish scientists from the USA and overseas, the USA would not have the atomic bomb in the first place.

Hispanics very much particpated in Americas effort in WW2. Thousands of them died defending the USA then. Yet those that survived when they came home they were treated like second class citizens. According to one former Hispanic soldier, "There was the same discrimination in Grand Falls (Texas), if not worse" than when he had departed. While Hispanics could work for $2 per day, whites could get jobs working in petroleum fields that earned $18 per day. In his town, signs read "No Mexicans, whites only", and only one restaurant would serve Hispanics. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hispan...rmed%20Forces.

After all those that are percieved to be different culture and way of life, are seen as a threat to the USA. Just like there are those in the USA see Latin Americans as a threat to the USA. All of this has xenophobic tendencies.
It's not a perception it's a fact! There are some cultures that aren't compatible with ours so why would we want them here then? Some immigrants do not assimilate into our society. They maintain their native cultures and languages out in public instead of embracing ours. They can practice their native culture and languages in the privacy of their own homes. Not assimilating out in public IS a threat to change our culture to theirs when you have a large number of them here doing it. Stop with the xenophobic nonsense! There is nothing xenophobic about desiring diversity in our immigration numbers so that they don't outnumber us and refuse to assimilate into our society.

It depends where; I'd say the UK is about equal but Germany, Netherlands, and Scandinavia are higher.

True, immigration is geared towards chain migration to benefit those already with a foothold. I have mixed feelings about the diversity visa lottery.

Same in the US, we're not protecting against our real threats mass migration and trade deficits and it's Russia, Russia, Russia.

Many Europeans are able to move to the USA, they just don't want to.
The exception being non EU nations such as Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, and Albania.
