You aren't paying attention AGAIN. Rand wasn't asking Schiff to reveal the whistle blower -- he was asking the media.

What game is that?

If Rand, Trump and you know who it is....then why not say it -- oh wait. Rand doesn't really know who it is and won't reveal the name he THINKS it is and what is circulating out there because he doesn't want be shown a fool if it isn't the person he thinks it is.

Some on the other side are saying this was illegal and if any harm came to the whistleblower, trump, paul and even trump supporters could be held responsible.

Just curious what everyone thinks, was this illegal, or not?
not illegal.

Similarly, if a news outlet, member of Congress or member of the public outed the whistleblower, legal experts said, no criminal law would be violated.

"There is no overarching protection for the identity of the whistleblower under federal law," said Dan Meyer, a lawyer and the former executive director of the intelligence community whistleblower program. "Congress has never provided that protection."

Some people believe it to be that person but nothing has been confirmed. I would think if it was that person and they knew for sure -- Trump, Rand etc...wouldn't be so coy in their reference of who the person is.

Really smart idea.

Person stands up when he sees the president trying to extort a foreign government for his own benefit.

And people want to throw the person to the wolves?

Is it any wonder that we get the worst of the worst in politics, and anyone who would stand up and sacrifice for their country gets ostracized.

Dumb.

And dumber.

Republicans are doing their damndest to convince the less intelligent folks that Trump is being unfairly accused, though several have confirmed what the whistleblower reported, including Trump, Giuliani, and Ambassador Sondland.

It's a done deal at this point.

Rand Paul, Trump, and Republicans are now claiming that it is no fair that a whistleblower pointed out that Trump was violating the Constitution.

It's witness intimidation. An obvious attempt to scare others into silence.

A president and senator at a rally asking for the release of the whistle blowers name, boy how deeply the republican party has fallen. All this with people with "read the transcript" T-Shirts in the background, what a tremendously intelligent bunch.

Shortly after Rand Paul tweeted out the article identifying the whistleblower, the Russian media followed up.

Good Lord.
