I don't blame anyone for avoiding that war, it was the most unjust war ever. All of those lives lost and nothing to show for it.
I entirely agree. I have an uncle who dodged the draft and spent a decade in Canada. He’s a good man and I love him dearly. He simply wasn’t going to be forced to kill other people, and although my father (his brother) who was a patriotic veteran of Korea had a big chip on his shoulder toward him for many years, even he understood the concept of free will, and that killin’ just ain’t for everybody.
Trump is an excellent Commander in Chief, and supports the military. He also wants to get them out of needless, foreign Civil Wars so they don't die meaninglessly. It will also save us Billions, but they Democrats don't care about American lives, nor saving tax dollars.
If he really cared about American lives he wouldn`t be opposed to enhanced background checks and banning assault weapons. Some folks are so easily played.
