I never like Sessions positions.

He is a 100% Trumpie, he was so before the term was coined, he was a Trumpie before Trump, truth be told. By that I am not talking about his sycophancy, there is a difference between a policy advocate and being a follower of a personality cult. Jeff Sessions was an early leader in the exact same policy positions Trump chose later to advance.

Now the cult has turned on him. They have no ideological reason to do so, he's one of them actually ... it is entirely because they are loyal to Trump and whatever he says, goes.

Why did Trump turn on Sessions? ... because Sessions stated that the Department of Justice will not be “improperly influenced by political considerations.” And he meant it.

That was not what Trump wanted in his Attorney General. That was not what other Trump supporters wanted for Trump's Attorney General.

Exposed how weak he really is.
One of those, all talk no action, types.

Yeah. I hate to see him go.
But I'll be glad to replace Doug Jones with a Republican. Jones has not done anything of note and voted to convict Trump. He'll lose.
