You know how this works, they say something crazy and cite "anonymous sources" only to have it end up being completely fake and having to walk it back quietly a few days later yet partisans will still be parroting it as if it was true months from now. It's happened just too many times before.
I love how Trumpers attack news sources when these sources have been proven correct time and time again. Trumpers can continue their denial fest but it will eventually all come down like a house of cards.

In 24 hrs. the Fake News will be debunked once again.
So right now we are on "it didn't happen," but then the next step is, "okay, it happened, but it doesn't matter because it's not a crime," so why don't you just start with that?
Trump ordered Barr to hold a news conference declaring that no laws had been broken by what Trump said on the call.
He declined to do so.
I'm hoping that Trump is enough of a fool, to fire Barr for refusing to carry out orders that serve his personal interests. Who would the next turkey be, to lay its head on the chopping-block, by taking that job? The AG of the United States is supposed to be the attorney who represents all the people of the country, not one who serves as a personal advocate of the President. If Barr has enough smarts, he will resign immediately and maybe by that act, he'll be able to weasel-out of being charged as Trump's accomplice. If he hangs in there, he will for sure become another one of Trump's cell-mates.
