So you are saying that they have to come here legally though, right? If not, then you are for open borders.
You don't get thru the border(s) unless you're thoroughly documented, no criminal record anywhere, and you're not a potential burden. Otherwise an American, for example, can live and work freely anywhere he or she wants from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska.
Libertarians may want open borders, but they also want no social services.
Hell, if we had no social services, I would be fine with open borders too. And I am not a libertarian.

Libertarianism only works as a package deal, which is probably the main reason I am not a libertarian.

This is why it boggles my mind why anybody votes Democrat these days. People actually want millions of lower-class, uneducated people from crime-ridden third world countries to flood into the United States forever?

Any politician that doesn’t abide by existing immigration laws should be immediately arrested and prosecuted. The same for law enforcement. Sanctuary cities or states should not be allowed to exist. Then you have people voting for these traitors.
Are Democrats so stupid that they do not recognize the important of preserving culture, or does immigration to the USA make no difference and not change culture? Do immigrants set up small fiefdoms with others from the same country in the USA?

If you find that you are unhappy about the outcome, then you are an “open border type”.
If you dont like my scenario, you can use any scenario that completely eliminates entry, other than at legal points of entry. Imagine a 100 foot tall, 10 feet thick titanium wall. It doesn’t have to be realistic for these purposes. It is just to assess whether or not you want people coming here illegally or not.
