Reminds me of other things, like people swarming and trampling over each other at Wal-mart the day after Thanksgiving, fighting over some stupid cheap crock-pot.
Really, life will go on if you don't have that sandwich. Believe me, it will.
The sandwich is good but salty, so if you are watching your salt I would order only occasionally. I prefer the bone-on chicken. Every day when I drive by Popeye's, the Drive thru line is wrapped around the building and spilling out into the road.
All the Popeyes are near ghetto areas in my metro, although one is in the process of being opened in a fairly nice area near me.
With the exception of the one near NCSU, it is the same way in my area. I do know Popeyes used to operate franchises on most military bases back in the 90s, I don't know if that's still the case.
Popeyes sucks. Their breading is bland, and tasteless. Their bone in chicken has a skimpy amount of meat. The pieces are tiny. Their spicy breading is also tasteless and not spicy at all KFC is even way better. Popeye is way overrated.
