Don't be a fool. You've brought that nonsense up before. I know HUNDREDS of people who voted for Trump, and not a single one thinks he was chosen by G-d. They voted for him because the alternative was worse.

First, Republicans complained there was no house resolution to investigate impsachment. So the House voted and the Republicans railed against it.
Then the Republicans said the investigation should be open and Gaetz and friends storm the closed hearings. Now the hearings are open to the public and Trump complains they should not be.
The procedures being used were developed for Nixon and refined for Clinton by the Republicans. Now those rules are being applied to the Republicans and it is a Republican whine fest.
I'm convinced Republicans are doing this on purpose to try to overwhelm the coverage with so much trash that you can't dispel all of it.

I agree that the approach by Trump has been to try to flood the media with an overwhelming number of lies to prevent them from adequately addressing them all. The problem with the Ukraine scandal is that the story is straightforward and easy to understand. I have no belief that the Republicans in the Senate will do anything but support Trump. The voters in 2020 on the other hand...
