How can Trump be so idiotic as to engage in witness intimidation during the middle of his impeachment hearing? Isn't it obvious to everyone that he believes he is above the law and can do whatever he wants?

I hope Schiff adds that to the articles of impeachment. It is impossible to deny.

Yes, apparently it totally blew up the defense the House GOP had planned to use, and they ended up having to mostly praise her in order to counter balance the Trump attempted public trashing, with lies, of a stellar ambassador who also happens to be a female. These people must really need that RNC dough--they are sure earning it. When the press tried to question the republicans afterward, they all pretended to be deeply engaged with their phones.

I suspect at this point he figures he doesn't have anything to lose, so why not?

But got to admit, it's pretty damn funny that he would commit an impeachable offense in the middle of hearings about his impeachment.

How can Trump be so idiotic? Do we need to answer that question?

Because he's an idiot.

He thought he could get away with this whole thing because Republicans enabled his behaviour for three years. So he thought he could do whatever he likes.
But he got too clumsy this time.

How they dismiss the bad behavior and justify by comparing to another. I can’t even swallow that you don’t fess up to your own doings! Man up and you all stop enabling. I’m going to fall out if he ever says. Yea I did that - and??
