What a surprise. Why can’t the whistleblower be questioned?
Outing a whistleblower is wrong, and that's the only thing Republicans want to do so that they can try to discredit him.
The whistleblower is somewhat irrelevant now, anyway. Everything they've said has been verified by at least 4 other witnesses- and Trump himself. It's curious why Republicans keep going after the WB when their account has already been confirmed by others. This is all just a reminder that none of you care about the rule of law, right and wrong, etc.
Keep showing America what a farcical, amateur-hour, kangaroo court this is and we'll get their votes immediately. All you have to tell them is this:
They spoke falsely and invented crimes against Trump, they'll do it to you without a second thought.
Vote accordingly.
You don't believe witnesses who have long-standing reputations of integrity, but you do fully trust a man who has 14,000 documented lies since 2016 and decades of dirty business practices and tens of thousands of lawsuits against them. Your judgement is fully compromised.
I think it’s important to understand why classified information was being passed around the White House like water cooler talk by career govt employees. Why didn’t he direct any of these people with first hand knowledge to report it? Why didn’t any of the witnesses thus far report it? Why did the WB immediately run to Schiffs office for guidance, and not use his chain of command within his own agency? Just to name a few.....
The WB followed correct reporting procedures and did bring it to their superiors. Not sure what you think they did wrong except that this goes against Dear Leader.
If we sweep everything else out of the way, there is one very important reason NOT to expose the WB...…...they would be risking having their life, or their families lives, in danger. There are a lot of nutjobs out there, as we saw when Dr. Ford testified against Kavanaugh. She had to go underground because of death threats against her and her family, who didn't even have anything to do with it.
We have the WB protection statute because of that very reason. If we do not protect people who have some information to share, they will stay silent, out of fear. Do we really want to turn ourselves into the Mafia, where snitches are found floating in the East River ?

You might be right about Clinton, but the Bidens are at the heart of the call and what Trump is being charged with. Schiff, along with the “whistleblower”, are very much players in the whole impeachment. Remember, as everyone keeps pointing out, impeachment is a political process, not a criminal one.
I can not imagine any judge would want to go in history as not allowing a person being charged with “high crimes and misdemeanors“ to face their accuser. That would rip at the very fiber of our judicial system and one of the crucial protections our Bill of Rights afforded us. If they are allowed to do it to him now they will be allowed to do it to you in a couple of years.
An impeachment inquiry is not a trial, so there is no expectation that Trump would "face his accuser". Why do so many of his supporters have no real understanding of how this all works? What you're suggesting is the same as a murder suspect being part of the murder investigation.
There's a 100% chance the WB is eventually outed and you all can spend all your time trashing their character like you already are. But there are plenty of other people who have already confirmed what they said, and more people waiting in the wings. Mulvaney confirmed it too. So did Trump. Why you guys need to know the WB as if there will be any pretense of fairness in how you treat them is just deeply dishonest.
Mr. Schiff, via his staff, coordinated the complaint with the whistleblower in advance. What is likely to come out is the degree to which Schiff is on a witch hunt, talking to anti-Trump operatives, in an attempt to overturn the results of an election he can't accept.
So all the people who confirmed it, including Mulvaney, are part of Schiff's conspiracy? Do you guys even hear yourselves?
What is the point? There are eye witnesses--people who were on the call. They don't need the whistleblower.

The whistleblower is irrelevant. The only reason the Lapdogs want him there is so they can make Trump happy by harassing the person. Then Trump can freely start his disgusting personal smear campaign against the person, which is the sole way Trump handles anything--like a nasty little child.
