margin than the military votes for McCain and Romney!

https://www.aol.com/article/news/201...ates/21603486/

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...e-white-house/

maybe libs should realize

1. Many vets actually did not like John McCain

2. Many vets don't want people people forced to serve in the military since they can't count on someone like that to be as good a soldier as a volunteer. Remember the end of Saving Private Ryan and what happens with Sergeant Uphanm?

obviously though veterans fell for Russian FB ads and that's why they didn't vote for the opposition

That's cuz military folks tend to be conservatives, not necessarily because they think Trump is honorable. Most people will go with pragmatic policy alignment over character.

Doesn't change that Trump acts like craven scum toward veterans when it suits him.

When has the draft been seriously discussed in America in recent years?

I served 21+ years, and did not vote for Trump. Many vets I know did not either, despite that appalling, corrupt, HRC creature the Dems lofted up as a viable presidential candidate.

You should look up the 3rd party bleed off votes that Gary Johnson got from military in 2016.

Same for Ron Paul in 2008.

Trump got most of the military vote

He got a higher percentage of the Military vote than Romney and McCain

Liberals are the ones constantly bringing up the draft since they keep saying because of “bone spurs l” or whatever Trump shouldn’t be allowed to be president or be In charge of the armed forces

Ron Paul didn't continue the race past the primary and I wasn't going to vote for Bob Barr who was a joke of a Libertarian party candidate so I didn't vote in 2008, I voted Johnson in 2012, and I refused to vote in 2016 for lack of options....Gary Johnson was still running, but this time around he got way too goofy and I couldn't justify voting for him again.

I certainly would have voted for Ron Paul, or even Rand Paul if given the chance.

That said, Trump still has something like a 60% approval rating among veterans so despite the 3rd party supporters, he doesn't struggle with that demographic, they are pretty much his bread and butter.

It's not the fact that they are vets. The one demographic that consistently separates Trump voters in any group is educational attainment. Many people go into the service because they can't/don't want to do anything else after high school for various reasons. High school is as far as they get. That makes them far more likely to be a Trump voter than anything else.

What on God's green earth are you babbling about?

This veteran is smart enough to know a con artist and habitual liar when I see one. All of those vets who still can't see that are willfully blind or clueless beyond redemption.

Of course veterans are for Trump, the military has always been conservative. This is news to you? That's the way it's always been in our country, you should visit it sometime.
