only in your mind....."the process" as you call it doesn't require anything kept secret

...if they had anything at all...they would be telling it all and bragging about it

didn't stop a one of them all the times before when they had nothing...Stick even bragged he had definite proof

Since there is little to no chance that he will be impeached, it seems to me this is just a desperation act from the Dems because they know they cant beat him next year. If they thought they could, they would just let him ride out his last year, and know their strong voter base would vote for their ever so popular candidate and defeat Trump. They know that wont happen. I really think their desperation moves are hurting their own party more than it is hurting Trump.

Congressional Republicans are 100% against the impeachment inquiry. They say that this is just a continuation of a witch hunt by the Democrats who have been trying to impeach Trump ever since he was elected and that Trump was merely trying to ask Ukraine’s leader to look into corruption in his country.

So, which side is going to win out in the end? Is President Trump going to be removed from office?
No, the impeachment inquiry is not being conducted entirely by Dems. There are Reps in the room asking questions too. But no matter how many times we say it, you refuse to process that fact. Not all Reps are against the inquiry either.

That being said, no, I do not believe he will be removed. McConnell, Graham, et al. are wusses. Or actually they're bought and paid for.

Did you whine when Ken Starr held behind closed door hearings for years while investigating the Clintons? How about all the behind closed door hearings about Benghazi and Hillary?

Yeah, didn't think so.

But guess what? Now they will be public. And guess what? Now Trump and the Republicans are complaining because they suddenly don't want them to be public.

Please explain that sudden change of heart to us. This should be good.

I won't even pretend to speculate. The Senate needs to find a soul. The comment I keep making is that Nixon had the GOP back in his day right up until the time he lost them. History may repeat itself.

I think they had to do something to bring attention to his abuses of power. Even if it costs the election.

Why is Adam Schiff not allowing Eric Ciaramella or Hunter Biden to be called in as witnesses?

This is really strange because they are key to this whole inquiry.

Yeah, that was my point. He held behind door hearings for years against the Clintons and not a single Republican complained about that. The same thing with the Benghazi hearings. You all were just fine with the many closed door hearings there, too. But suddenly it's not FAIR that the Democrats are doing the same thing the Republicans have been doing all along. Poor babies. They think the rules only apply to them.

Yeah, they have nothing. That's why Trump and the GOP are crying now about the hearings going public. If they're so sure there's nothing there why are they upset that the public will hear about it?
