...and the demos could stop Trump from installing judges, installing policy, etc etc on and on
but they won't
How many times has Shifty had definite proof now?
Why won't you address the question asked by JAMS? Republicans didn't want closed door testimony and now that it is being made public why do republicans NOT want public testimony?
Are they afraid of something?

That poster has avoided that question several times now, even as he/she is asserting that the Democrats have "got nothing." His/her posts ooze fear about what might be revealed in open testimony and how the public will react to it. Which is also exactly what Trump and the rest of his supporters are afraid of, and why they suddenly don't want open hearings any longer after demanding it for weeks.
The percent probability that Trump is going to be impeached and removed from office is:
You have two separate questions going here.
Will he be impeached - charged by the House? There is a strong possibility.
Will he be removed from office - found guilty by the Senate of the charges brought by the House? Highly unlikely.
Do you believe if there is a groundswell of support to remove him following the public hearings that the Senate GOP will commit suicide and vote for a lame duck rather than try to protect their own livelihoods and power? Seriously?
No Senator from any party in history has ever voted to remove a President of their Party and that will continue....not to mention, Republican voters would never forgive a Republicrat that voted to remove President Trump...so no Repub will commit political suicide by voting to remove Trump.
I voted 0-20%. I would have voted straight 0%, if that had been an option. At least based on what we know now. There's always a chance of new revelations.
I saw Sen. Tim Scott (R, SC) interviewed this morning. He is clearly not a Trump lackey. He didn't hold back from criticizing the President. But he said he thought that there would be Dem Senators who would not vote to convict. He would seem to be in a good position to know.
If we end up with (say) a 30-40 vote to convict, that is going to be disaster for the Democratic party in 2020.
This constant nonsense about how impeachment will be a disaster for the Democratic Party is just ridiculous.
I realize that Republicans don't have a leg to stand on here, and their BS about Biden and the deep state isn't catching on outside of the tinfoil hat crowd.
But ignoring criminal behavior in order to further political prospects is a Republican deal -- Watergate, Iran/Contra, torture memos, ...
Nil. If there is an "unofficial ceremonial impeachment" it will just be so the ignorant public has something to hang their hat on.
