Senator Graham has made it clear that any so-called "Impeachment" vote will be "Dead on arrival" in the Senate, if the House bars the testimony and cross-examination of the Eric Ciaramella - "The Whistleblower" - during the House hearings.

Quote:
Graham: Impeachment 'dead on arrival' in Senate if House bars 'whistleblower' testimony

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said Sunday that if House Democrats refuse to bring in the “whistleblower” during their impeachment hearings, “this thing is dead on arrival in the Senate.” “It’s impossible to bring this case forward in my view fairly without us knowing who the whistleblower is and having a chance to cross-examine them,” said Mr. Graham on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “If they don’t call the whistleblower in the House, this thing is dead on arrival in the Senate.”

“The whistleblower is foundational to what they’re doing in the House, and the fact that they don’t want to call him tells you everything you need to know about how valid this effort is to impeach the president,” Mr. Graham said. “It is impossible to conduct an impeachment inquiry when the chief complaining witness is unknown to the president, not subject to cross-examination.”

The South Carolina Republican alleged that “this is not about Schiff finding the truth, this is about Schiff trying to destroy the Trump presidency.”
Of course Senator Graham is right and any fair, justice minded Senator will agree, as the failure to included the testimony of the "Whistleblower" will establish this whole process as the illegitimate kangagroo court partisan lynch mob style process that it is increasingly clear that it has become.

Well said, Senator Graham.

Since there is already a transcript of the call what is the need for the whistleblower testimony?

So, instead of addressing the issue, Graham is having a hissy fit about the process. He’s pretty much lost any credibility he ever had. Hasn’t he?

Because the "Whistleblower" was a key contributer to this series of assertions and the President has a constitutional right to confront his accusers. Also, there is more to this than just what is in the transcripts, including what is it that motivated the "Whistleblower" to initiate this process.

That needs to be explored and documented, in public, on the official record. Obviously the Democrats do not want that, and Senator Graham in the article in the OP goes on to discuss some of the reasons why they do not want this explored.

This is all going to be very bad for the Democrat left supporting deep state operatives and also for Joe and Hunter Biden.

The Democrats never intended to vote for the Articles of Impeachment to send it to the Senate for actual impeachment hearings. They know there is nothing to impeach Trump over so will just TALK about it in the House in an attempt to smear Trump with falsehoods.

We need to find out what trump knows about Lindsey that makes Lindsey do and say stupid things to defend trump. I wonder if trump found out that Lindsey had a gay relationship with an underage person and trump has the goods on him.

That is how trump survives. He sends his henchmen out to find dirt on someone so that trump can control them. Lindsey is a pansy shaking in his boots and is of no use to his constituents.

The Democrat left nutroots might not be satisfied with that outcome.

Not sure what motive has to do with anything when it’s obvious the phone call happened and the transcript exists. Yes, you can attack the messenger.

If you guys want to convince any open minded people that this is a full on, politically motivated, kangaroo court effort by the Democrats to oust their chief political opponent through the weaponization of the "impeachment process," then by all means, deny the President the ability to call and question witnesses, especially high profile witnesses who have already come forward to profess knowledge about this situation that is sympathetic to the narrative being promoted by Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff and the Democrats in the House. You will have done it.
