You suppose Levy got his legal fees reimbursed or the hemp returned?
Regardless, he should be awarded a princely sum from the police pension fund.

Decriminalize only.
Whats with the tax fetish? You honestly think increased taxes will result in yours going down or the services you get will improve as a result?

Another life ruined with the pointless war in drugs.

NYPD thought they had a bust when a nosy Fedex employee called in a tip that he thought there was a lot of marijuana in one of his trucks.

It was 106 pounds to be exact. Just one problem, it was actually legal hemp that someone was receiving to a legal CBD business.

It’s amazing that as absurd as we all know the war in weed is at this point, this kind of thing is still happening even in progressive states like NY.
So, if it's legal, why was he charged?

The NYPD’s field test kit could not distinguish legal hemp from illegal weed. The only difference is how much THC it contains, which requires a more detailed lab test. The charges should be dropped once their tests are complete.

Business owner busted for 106 pounds of legal hemp, charged with felony drug possession
And now we have the Miami Heat player who ODs on marihuana, and will lose his job.

I wish him speedy recovery. Marihuana poisoning is a serious problem.

Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters experienced a "panic attack" on the team's charter flight Thursday night after consuming a THC-infused edible, sources told ESPN.

Waiters received medical treatment after the plane landed in Los Angeles following the Heat's victory over the Phoenix Suns. Waiters was listed as out for Friday's game against the Lakers because of illness and did not attend the game.

Waiters missed the game in Phoenix because of a stomach ache and was seeking relief when he took an edible he was unfamiliar with, sources said. League rules prohibit the use of THC, one of the main compounds in cannabis.

You meant "who had a panic attack."
