What the whistleblower stated has been corroborated by very credible people. Lets take a breath & listen to the witnesses before just dismissing what is told to the public.
We don't need the whistleblower to testify.
Whatever. Let me repeat - it doesn't matter whether the WB is required to testify or not. This entire, sad blemish on our history is just a bunch of Dims who are trying to negate the 2016 election results.

The right, if they get their news only from right wing outlets and Fox, is completely oblivious to all the other testimony. Those sources are not reporting it, so they have not heard how overwhelming it is. To them, the only "witness" is the whistelblower - who is not given any testimony whatsoever.

The only thing it would accomplish is exposing the WB to a lot of threats and intimidating any future WB.

Why not get Perry, Pence, Pompeo, etc. to testify? They could defend Trump and straighten this all out.

The whistleblower wasn't a witness to anything, though.

This isn't a courtroom and it's not a legal process, it's a political one.

So.....

In what world does it make sense that 99% of the Democrats voted to open the impeachment inquiry and 100% of the Republicans voted to oppose the impeachment inquiry? Who in their right mind is going to think that this is not politically biased?

This whole process is inherently flawed. The whistleblower is nothing but a pawn.

Trump can "face" his accusers: Vindman, Sondland and Taylor.

And like someone else mentioned in another thread - I hope Joe Biden can confront his accuser about corruption in Ukraine.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, no?

Couldn't rep you again, yet.

This is a pretty good summary.

The smear cannons would go into overdrive - the swiftboating would be a gentle caress in comparison. Speaking up against Dear Leader is a Thought Crime that must be punished.

The conservatives need to establish an example and make sure no other peons report crimes of the high-born.

That is all of it correct.

Yes it is flawed, something we can agree on. I think anyone thought we would be in this position again, the Nixon impeachment wasn't divided and to a lesser extent that was also true of Clinton but this is completely divided.
