And so..... once that problem was taken care of 30+ years ago Scandinavians were bored with their clean, safe societies and were like, "Ya know what? We need a little more Mogadishu in Malmo?" "Let's spice things up with some Afghani blood feuds and sectarian conflict!"
Guess they don't call it "Stockholm Syndrome" for nothing, eh?
Afghanis? OK, so an actual Vienna resident blew your "Vienna is a suq" narrative sky-high (bad metaphor, sorry) and now you're deciding on Afghanis, because?

Afghanis or not, it's immigrants to Sweden who are the ones making the bombs, right?

Not sure about Afghani's, it's usually the Turks and Kurds that control the Heroin Supply in Europe.
The Albanian and Russian Mafias are a major force in supplying cocaine, and in people smuggling and the sex industry, whilst the Romanian and Bulgarian gangs are often involved in robbery and fraud.
The Turks and Kurds had an on-going war in London, however London's Metropolitan police have more resources than the entire Swedish Police Force, and a lot of raids took place, and people went to jail. The police even uncovered a torture chamber in a property in Green Lanes. The Swedish Police need to get a grip on this and might want to seek advice from overseas police forces.
Last year, Peter Springare, 61, a veteran police officer in Orebro, published a furious Facebook post saying violent crimes he was investigating were committed by immigrants from “Iraq, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Somalia, Syria again, Somalia, unknown country, unknown country, Sweden.”
Before any specific issues can be addressed the Swedish government must acknowledge the severity of the matter. In the past few years, the rise in violent crime in Sweden has attracted growing attention from international media. How has the Swedish government responded? By launching an elaborate PR campaign for foreign audiences that plays down the challenges—especially those in the country’s immigrant areas. Nothing will change if the government continues to respond to the reality in the streets with cynical rhetorical spin.

It's gangs making the bombs.
Some of those criminal gangs are home-grown. Some are immigrants. From Norway or from Eastern Europe. One of the prominent gangs is from Turkey. They are Assyrians that originally got displaced when Turkish and Kurdish aggression got out of hand, and then when violence broke out in Syria and Iraq they had to take refuge somewhere else. Assyrians are Christians, by the way.

"Home grown" = code for Second generation children of migrants and refugees.
Also code in Germany and Scandinavia: "The suspect was of 'Southern' appearance."

Some of the bombs are hand grenades which can be bought on the black market in Russia and Eastern Europe.
It's the sheer scale of attacks, with around one hundred over the last year which has been surprising, although tbh I have never agreed with the policy of mass immgration in terms of Sweden or indeed any other country. Perhaps Greta Thunberg should return to Sweden and give a speech and a glaring look, in order to solve the problems.
Usually the police manage to get a grip on gang warfare, and quickly take out key players, however the Swedish police seem to have lost control of the situation.
Because there's a narrative to sell, duh. The Scandinavian biker turf wars of the 80s were fought with anti-tank rockets and grenades, and those were completely home-grown.
The narrative sells itself.
