Its probably been discussed many times, but I'd like to hear from self proclaimed dems/left/progs what their answer is for this sort of thing, homeless attacks at record pace. Attacking others is not the answer. Give some ideas. TIA
The Democrats answer is to confiscate more tax dollars and use very little of the funds allocated to housing, health, job programs.
Why doesn't California have an aduquate supply of residential hospitals like they used to help them? They bring in a fortune in revenue yearly but like with most liberal cities they will waste no matter how much they collect.
States like North Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska could help more people with a million dollars then California could with a billion because California gives it to sham organizations that don't know what they are doing and are just there to give California college graduates with degrees that aren't working out for them high paid jobs doing things like consultanting that would be better used on food and shelter programs.
They have limited supply with stupid regulations far to long and there is massive amounts of people flocking in from the third-world living a dozen to an apartment.
They should bring back long-term mental health hospitals to get people the help they need. But the Democrats would never support that as feeding people, getting them training, caring for them in a residential setting until they can posibly transition into society is taking away their rights. But the city of LA and many other liberal cities love these mental meltdowns in public because the people witnessing it will rush to the ballot box and vote for more tax increases and vote for more liberals who will increase taxes for them to do nothing.
Most the tax dollars they collect to solve the homeless issue ends up in the hands of shady sham non-profits that make the situation worse, devolopers who are connected to city hall's politicians friends who spend a massive amount building very few units and used for administrative purposes and consultants.
These cities collect a massive fortune to deal with this situation but they do nothing intentionally so that the situation gets worse and worse and they can beg for more tax increases to funnel to very shady "homeless" non-profit in name only companies, devolopers and high-priced consultants.
