Then explain if the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with militias, just why does the first part of it go, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State..." So what's the matter? Were the writers of the U. S. Constitution just too liberal for you?
Thats easy, I forget when this actually happened, but another poster should know this, the 'well regulated militia' is 'the general public' (the people).
Many years ago, there was a high profile murder in my state. One of the victims was forced to drink Drano. I wonder if the Drano company could have been sued for that murder. I wonder if the auto manufacturers could be sued for the hit and run murder that happened here last week. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the answer were yes. That is the kind of illogical Idiocracy we now live in.
$33 million is a drop in the bucket. They’ll need to pay more in legal fees and PR if the lawsuit goes to trial, with the inherent unpredictability of a jury.
The plaintiffs should ask for way more. Anything less than 9 digits is a nonstarter.
Also, someone alert Alex Jones that Remington is offering $33 mil for a “hoax”.
