The phone call transcript does not show any quid pro quo. End of story, goodbye impeachment inquiry. All the witness opinions and hearsay speculations are worthless.

You definitely live in an alternate universe. The Republicans were the party of "No" during the Obama years. The current house has pushed bills to the Senate which McConnell won't allow to come to the floor. It is the Republicans that have turned their backs on the American citizens.

She would if she knew it would get him thrown in prison for life. All the Ukraine President would need to do is say that mean old Trump held back money unless he investigated Hunter Biden, and Trump would be impeached.
Like I said, this is like holding a murder trial, where the dems claim Trump murdered Jon Doe. But Doe, the so called victim, is waving his arms telling everyone that he's not dead, and Schiff has him dismissed from the room because he is interrupting the hearsay witnesses speculating about how dead Jon Doe is.

1) What Trump did was 100% normal
2) What Trump did was not normal but not worthy of impeachment
3) What Trump is accused of is indeed impeachable but Schiff doesn't have the evidence to make it stick.

We have the transcript of the call. These people think they heard what was not said. Their bad memories are not evidence. Ask the Ukraine president if he was told there was a hold on aid unless he investigated Biden Oh wait, people have asked him, and he said there was no such thing. If the so called victim says it never happened, then it didn't happen.
I wish I had a dollar every time I left a meeting, and someone claimed they heard something said, that was never said. Sometimes people hear what they want to hear, or they are biased, and read into what is being said, and create their own version of events.
Personal opinion and speculation, or second and third hand hearsay, is not evidence, get that thru your head. The evidence is the transcript of the phone call. Ukraine's president has said there was no quid pro quo, just as the transcript shows.
The Ukranian president would never ever go against Trump. He has to have U.S. support. He would not admit he felt threatened even if he did. That's why we are having testimony of others who talked to Ukrainian officials and who were on calls.
The transcript was not released, just a summary of the transcript. Lots of information missing.

You would have been reminded that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, during Obama’s admin. The Russians were testing Obama just as they were attempting to meddle in our 2016 pres election. Obama dithered when confronted with Russian aggression.
And we know from the report of special counsel Mueller III that the Obama admin did nothing to stop election meddling. Russia beat Obama on both fronts.
Democrats claim Trump’s intent was an abuse of power, but the net result of Trump’s decisions, is a stronger response to the Russians than Obama ever delivered. Impeachment? Give me a break.
