Devin Nunes is such a Republican tool. He doesn't get that it doesn't matter who the whistleblower is. Many people knew something weird was going on, they all reported their suspicious, and it was swept under the rug because the WH was purposely hiding it. And why would they hide something that wasn't wrong? Because it was wrong, and they knew it was wrong. Nunes is implying that squelching the whistleblower's report would have made the whole supposedly OK act go away, and the administration would carry on, business as usual. Talk about a twisted preztel logic of a Trump sycophant. I think he doesn't even comprehend his own thought process.
We already have statements from the two primary participants who have first hand knowledge: Trump and Zelensky. Both say there was no QPQ, no pressure, no extortion, no bribe, and the Ukraine got their aid without doing anything in return for it. There's nothing there. Meanwhile, the Dems continue acting the fools in a very public way.
There is precedent with the President stating something he 'didn't know' and we found out later he was flat out lying.
