If Taylors' conversation with Sondland are so important to Mr. Goldman (counsel) why doesn't the committee want to hear from Sondland directly?

One thing Ambassador Taylor mentioned today during his opening statement--- worth noting is that president Trump considered giving military assistance to Ukraine a business deal and in order to go forward with that business deal Ukraine owed it to the U.S. to open investigation into Biden / Burisma.

Seems to me after listening to this hearing; President Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine, to benefit Russia.

When his first testimony was exposed as a lie. He realized he was outed and he quickly changed his testimony to save his ass.

This isn't rocket science, but I'd be willing to say it was the time he said there was no quid pro quo. THEN, others came forward saying that yes, it was quid pro quo, and he decided maybe perjury wasn't something he didn't wait to get into. Hence, his "revised" stance.

The Narrative got blown in that line of questioning! LOL
Soland was initially repeating what Trump had told him. Mulvaney later told us to "get over it' since quid-pro-quos are how they do things

Notice how Goldman only asks Taylor to read *his* texts, and not the responses to his texts.

There's a reason for that.

#1) The texts were pre-scripted, and planned in advance.
#2) The responses did not support the narrative within the script.

Weak sauce.

Lots of hearsay and what Taylor interpreters from sitting in a meeting with Trump and what he understood.

That is not facts and just what Taylor made of things.

"What I heard from people..."

What a waste of time and money.

True. I have been watching every minute. I am learning much more about foreign policy than I ever knew. I feel a lot of sympathy for Ukraine.and President Zelensky's position. According to Taylor, and he sounded pretty objective, Ukraine is a young, weak democracy and they felt railroaded to kowtow to Trump's demand for this investigation because they needed the foreign aid to protect themselves from their war with Russia. Without it, people would die. Ukrainian citizens might have already died waiting for the foreign aid because the administration delayed it a long while before finally releasing it.

Sealioning (also spelled sea-lioning and sea lioning) is a type of trolling or harassment which consists of pursuing people with persistent requests for evidence or repeated questions, while maintaining a pretense of civility and sincerity. It may take the form of "incessant, bad-faith invitations to engage in debate".

Keep this in mind as you watch the GOP.
