Also, California has the most restrictive gun laws in the U.S. They even have background checks for ammo purchases, and more restrictions than even the current crop of loony Dems are pushing.

The shooter probably broke over 30 EXISTING Federal, State and Local gun laws. So where are the Democrats and MEDIA going to go with this one??? Will yet MORE LAWS stop someone? NO. Hell NO.

Just did, for Austin, and came across this:

Now maybe there is some secret code language about guns but as far as seeing how many ads.....ZILCH!

Even, perhaps, before this notice, there weren't that many. I guess back in 2012, when I had more disposable cash for such, I looked for guns, Uzis, on Craigslist.......and they just weren't there.

We used to bring our hunting rifles and shotguns to high school. We kept them in the Principals office. He'd sometimes go hunting with us after school as would some of the teachers. This was in a suburb of a large metro area. Nobody even thought of using a gun irresponsibly, nor illegally.

Just what every home needs, a gun arsenal.
6 firearms registered to the deceased father and several unregistered firearms in the home.

Likely the firearm used was one of the unregistered. No way of knowing if the shooter was aware or cared about gun registration.

In 2017, Nikolas Cruz was 18 when he legally bought the firearm and did so with his mother’s knowledge. She died the same year.

He and his brother then moved in with a friend of his deceased mother. He was not allowed to bring in gun. It is believed he may have buried it in the yard. That living arrangement did not work out and he moved in with a friend/ family. They made him buy a gun safe and took the key. They were unaware there were 2 keys and he had kept one.

It’s a parent’s failure to imagine their child would be capable of gun violence.

Most do not expect to survive.

Think most mass shootings begin with the intention of suicide, either self inflicted or by cop.
What compels one to shoot random people before taking their own life is unknown beyond an intent to make a statement.

Millions of people engage in “ murderous video games and movies” all over the world and don’t engage in mass shootings.

It is a rare mass shooter who was under the influence at the time of the shooting.
