Why doesn't Graham want those most directly involved who could provide first hand details testifying? If Graham and the GOP actually wanted the full truth, they would call for Trump, Pence, Pompeo, Mulvaney, Perry, Giuliani, and Bolton to testify. The Republicans however could care less about getting to the truth. All they want to do is muddy things up and deflect from discovering what really happened. The Republicans in congress are an embarrassment and stain on America. History will not be kind on its judgement of them.

Not in the least, Schiff is an insignificant gimp that has to do what he is told, and it certainly seems like he was the architect of this partisan coup attempt so he really should have to answer some questions. The president on the other hand not only controls the power of the executive, but he'd be the defendant in the "case", so there's no argument for anyone being able to force him to testify.

Sounds like Graham wants to turn the Senate trial into a partisan hack circus event run by GOP clowns. He and his fellow cronies have no desire to get to the truth of the bribery and extortion that was tied to Ukrainian funding.

There is no possible way that the Senate exceeds what the House has accomplished as far as running a partisan hack circus event, which is altogether what this exercise has been in the House so far.

Seriously. So what's the end game here besides a defeat? Anybody?
How about doing their constitutional duty when someone breaks the law? How much of Dear Leader's malfeasance is considered acceptable to you? (don't bother answering, I already know)

Let Republicans own this in the Senate, it's all theirs, right along with Trump.

Watching this most recent attempt to smear President Trump fall to complete pieces before our eyes is so amusing. But watching how the demolibs react is even more exciting. Loving it!

Better do something quick demolibs. Election 2020 is just around the corner. And Ruth doesn't look like she's going to make another month.

That's ok, Republicans in the senate don't believe is voting for a SCOTUS justice a year prior to a presidential election. They believe in stalling the vote until after the newly elected are sworn in. That's how they do it now. Unless they are hypocrites.

You are probably right that the best thing for Trump would be to have the Senate trial that would allow Republicans to beat up on Democrats and expose the "insurance policy" for what it is, but that's not the best thing for the country so I'd hope they'd just throw the partisan nonsense in the trash where it belongs so everyone can get back to doing their real jobs. There's simply no reason to give any credibility to a partisan coup attempt.
If President Trump is actually impeached by the House, the Senate will actually be conducting a trial ("High crimes and misdemeanors"). It is virtually inconceivable that Chief Justice Roberts will be willing to sit there and preside over a trial ("High crimes and misdemeanors") that is authorized specifically by the US Constitution without ensuring that the rights provided to US Citizens in the constitution are provided to the President in this venue. Those include the rights to confront their accusers and the right to due process.

I don't know what you're watching, but you and I are apparently watching something quite different. Also, your immature name for Democrats sure adds a significant amount of gravitas to your argument. Not.
