POTUS needs no reason, just like Obama needed no reason when he fired the Bush-appointed Ambassadors. HOW do you not get that?
New administrations are always replacing ambassadors mostly political donors, do you know who the replacement is for Yovanovitch or for that matter Taylor and Volker. This isn't the ambassador to the Bahamas, they are at war with Russia and Trump has no replacement and disparaged her in front of Zellensky and claimed she was bad without any details.
Giuliani and his hit men wanted her out, Russia couldn't have done a better job to get rid of a strong anti-corruption ambassador if they tried. Why the presidents counsel and his associates are wandering around Ukraine and Europe attempting to get rid of an ambassador is one for the record books, they accomplished what the oligarchs couldn't and Russia must be pleased.
I cant wait to see her replacement, maybe Sondland has another friend in the hotel business or maybe he should take over himself since he has such an avid interest in Ukraine.
So this guy CHOOSING to testify must think he has something of value to offer or why bother. He'll become a target for either side depending on what he says. Who would want to put themselves into that position.

The ambassador clearly was not skilled for the job. She can talk nice but to me she rightfully was recalled.
Meanwhile she is still getting paid and can’t deal with being a professional on the world stage.
Trump made a very wise decision and his tweet was not witness tempering as if Schiff hadn’t mention the tweet, she wouldn’t have know until after the hearing. Nothing in the tweet is/was threatening. Clearly she is a light weight.
