Empty political apologies aren't just lies, they're opportunist manipulation of public opinion to gain power. That is far worse than Trump's honesty.
I think the reason you bring up Trump and go with 'its not that bad' approach is because your political leaders have taught you Trump is a unique evil by which every other corrupt lobbyist and politician in DC cannot compare.
Sadly those people are far worse and your excitement in removing Trump from office will lead to disappointment. People like Bloomberg will bring more pain and suffering to this country and the world than a goofy fraud like Trump.

Stop and frisk doesn’t sit well with most POC not just BLM. Especially those of us with sons.
The reality is Stop & Frisk enacted in NYC occurred during the era where NYC violent crime plummeted by the largest percentage in its history.
Violent crime plummeted everywhere, not just in NY. Had nothing to do with stop and frisk.
