I know most people think Trump will for sure win in a landslide, but let's say it doesn't work out that way. Let's say Trump narrowly loses the Rust Belt. Let's say Arizona flips to blue. Trump holds onto Ohio and Florida. Iowa and Minnesota go to the Democrats. The rest of the country is as it was in 2016. Trump performed stronger than the liberal media predicted he would be he didn't quite win. However, Trump refuses to concede? He will likely make claims of voter fraud and of course, with Fox News, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc pushing conspiracies soon 40% of the country will believe the election is illegitimate. How does that end?

Another possibility is that if Trump loses but electors flip and elect him anyway. How would the left respond to that? Neither of these options are totally out of the realm of possibility.

What if Trump loses and refuses to concede?

....and the pathetic liberal dreaming and forlorn wishful thinking goes on.

You have to feel sorry for these desperate people. They have so little hope of anyone voting for them, they have to start using mindreading and fortune-telling to invent things to bash Trump for, and brace each other up.

Good god, don't we get one of these threads about once a week?

It's funny to see this thread, while another TDS thread talks about Trump's imminent resignation.

I don't know why you say people think Trump will win in a landslide. He didnt even win the popular vote in 2016. The support from his base has remained fairly consistent but there's no way he's actually gained any extra support since 2016.
It's possible he will win but it's unlikely to be a landslide.

If he loses it certainly won't be with any grace at all.
He'll call everybody all the names under the sun and cry 'unfair' and 'rigged'.

But he'll fold in the end - he always has.

The outgoing president has no role in the inauguration of a new president. He doesn't even have to show up. It makes no difference if he concedes or not.

I doubt even then would those against him, would stand up to do anything about it...they would expect someone else, like the FBI, or secret service to do it for them! They would remain obedient and compliant thru out!
