Wow! Trump must really have something to hide in them there tax returns!

Quote:
President Donald Trump is asking the Supreme Court to block a subpoena for his tax returns, in a test of the president’s ability to defy investigations.
Quote:
The filing Thursday sets the stage for a high court showdown over the tax returns Trump has refused to release, unlike every other modern president. The justices also could weigh in more broadly on Trump’s claim that sitting presidents can’t be prosecuted or investigated for crimes.

The only reason why democrats want those tax returns so badly is because they want to use it to kickstart the next political circus, much like the Ukraine impeachment hoax that’s falling apart right now.

Agreed 100%. There is no way they are granting certiorari to an argument that the President’s office renders him immune from criminal investigation, particularly when he is not even required to take any affirmative action.

beg
/beɡ/
verb
1.
ask (someone) earnestly or humbly for something.

Perhaps you are right. "Beg" would not be an appropriate verb to describe trump's actions as he is in no way humble.
