Alan Dershowitz criticized Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi after she reportedly said she wants to see President Trump in prison.
“As a liberal Democrat, I am appalled at Nancy Pelosi,” Dershowitz, a civil liberties advocate and former Harvard law professor, said Thursday on Fox News. “The idea of her weaponizing the criminal justice system and calling for the imprisonment of the President of the United States without him being charged with any crime, without him being charged with any impeachable offense. It’s just outrageous.”

Dershowitz’s comments follow the California Democrat reportedly saying she wanted Trump to be put in prison Tuesday during a meeting of top Democratic lawmakers.
“I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Pelosi said. Pelosi has maintained she would rather see Trump defeated at the ballot box.
On what basis, she doesn’t say. The president has been charged with no crime; that doesn’t matter to Pelosi and her fellow Democrats. They are willing to use the levers of power to punish their political opponents.
Pelosi has been put in a difficult position with her caucus. There is a growing group of her caucus that wants to see President Trump impeached; they are still a minority of the caucus, but they are growing in number. She is at least smart enough to recognize the political pitfalls of impeachment. Most Americans have moved on from the Mueller investigation, and they are largely against impeachment.
Trump responded Thursday to her comments by giving her the nickname “Nervous Nancy.” “I think she is a disgrace,” Trump said Thursday. “I actually don’t think she’s a talented person. I’ve tried to be nice to her because I would have liked to have gotten some deals done. She’s incapable of doing deals. She’s a nasty, vindictive, horrible person.”
Trump did nothing to be impeached or jailed….that would be Obama and Hillary.
Pelosi is not mentally stable, we’ve seen it in speeches where she stops talking and just stares off into space.
The Speaker of the House and her allies in the media continually push the conspiracy theory that President Trump is mentally ill. But it’s all projection.
The real scandal is the frightening public appearances where Pelosi appears confused and unable to string sentences together in a coherent manner. She often stares into space, mispronounces words, gets confused and stutters and stammers.
I don’t believe Pelosi wants Trump to go to jail, she’s just upping her rhetoric to try to regain control of her caucus. She is losing her grip on the house Dems and needs more traction. Ocasio Cortez is taking over and has proclaimed herself the self-appointed leader of the house so Nancy is nervous of that.
Pelosi is a politician that has failed the American people. For over 30 years our crooked government has taxed, taken away our rights and got real rich off the backs of hard working Americans. They want to give illegals, felons, 16-year-olds, any low life that can vote for the democrats that’s why it is important that Trump gets in again in 2020.
Meanwhile Hillary is guilty of multiple crimes such as selling 20% of our uranium to Russia for 145 million dollars to her crooked foundation, destroying subpoenaed evidence, paying foreign spy Christopher Steele one million dollars in laundered money to write a fake dossier on Trump so they can present it to a FISA court to get a warrant to tap Trump’s aid’s phone and other assorted crimes yet she walks scot-free because she is protected by the mainstream press which is now an arm of the democrat party. If you are associated with Hillary in any way you get a free pass, but if you even sneeze near Trump you get the full force of the government down on you.
Meanwhile, because of Trump’s policies, our economy is now the envy of the world. For the first time in 75 years, we are energy independent and do not have to rely on Opec and are now a net oil exporter. This is because Trump opened up drilling in ANWAR that libs always protested against and he opened the Keystone pipeline which hired 43,000 workers as well as the Dakota pipeline.
Unemployment fell to 3.6 percent the lowest since 1969 with more blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women and youth unemployment the lowest in history. People have more money in their paychecks and social security checks because Trump lowered the FICA tax.
Our GDP went up to 3.2 percent in the new first quarter and never got above 2.5% under Obama. Trump’s economy has taken us from stagnation to boom.
The people who suffered the most under Obama’s & Biden’s economy are now the single beneficiary of Trump’s low taxes and the lessening of Obama’s burdensome regulations, but you will never hear that from the mainstream media. Instead they concentrate on spreading lies and hoaxes about Trump. We spent two years investigating a hoax about Trump and Russia and the media all brought into it and were shocked when it was proven false by Mueller.

Americans view made-up news and information as a bigger problem than other critical issues, including terrorism, immigration, climate change and racism, according to a new survey from Pew Research Center. Trump first coined the phrase “fake news” and has single-handedly exposed an abusively biased agenda driven press. The biggest proponents of fake news are ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times and Washington Post.
The British media praised Trump’s visit there while the media here, for the most part, continued reporting conspiracy theories. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow saw her ratings drop to their lowest since Trump’s inauguration and CNN suffered their biggest ratings drop (26%) – a double-digit drop.
There are 20 candidates running for president on the Democrat side and all they can do is attack Trump when they should be offering what they can offer for the American people. Trump is living in their heads rent free 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
When polled a lot of Dems said they wanted someone younger to run for president and preferably a woman or person of color. So who do they gravitate towards? Joe Biden an old corrupt white guy from the past with no new ideas who is older than Trump. Biden has no values, no new ideas, is corrupt and has to run on Obama’s failed policies. Geeez.
