It's really simple - get out and vote. The momentum is definitely on the side of those who believe that we have a problem with climate change.

73% of Americans think climate change is happening (up from 62% in 2013)

62% of Americans think it is human caused (up from 47% in 2013)

65% believe it will harm Americans (up from 53% in 2013)

At this point the argument over whether there is climate change is largely over and has moved to what we do about it. We will always have deniers but at this point they are on the fringe. So get out and vote and let your senator know what you think. We live in a democracy so it is all about the democratic process.

Doesn't matter what Americans think.
This country is run by voters and voters' representatives. At most, that is about 50% of the people.

So their opinion is all that matters.
Obama said the oceans would recede during his Presidency. But they didn't. Is that because he is a "denier"?

Just because most people believe these lies does not make them true.

Hmmmm

Any polls you can cite about how many Americans think climate change can be prevented by Democrats raising their taxes and redistribution of wealth?

Because that seems to be the only solution they put forth.

Oh, and banning cow farts. .....sorry.

Let's assume the majority of Americans believe climate change is man made, and it is a threat to civilization. What plan do our politicians have for reducing carbon emissions? The world's largest contributors to this problem are China and India. They are not going to stop. India is just getting started, and I think they will be bigger polluters than China when they really get ramped up.

Do you think we have a right to dictate how these other nations handle their pollution? So far, we have been contributing to their growth and ability to create such pollution. Trump has tried to bring much of the industry we've lost to these nations back home, where regulations concerning pollution are far stricter. But the left has done nothing but kicked and screamed and behaved like petulant children.

The left is overwhelmingly in love with the cheap, breakable imported crap that fills their empty lives with some bit of satisfaction that they could never get on their own. So don't count on the left to have any reasonable solutions. The only thing they can think of doing is raising taxes and punishing Americans and what's left of American industry. By doing this, they are guaranteeing that China and India will continue to expand their industrial base, contributing more and more pollution to the environment with each passing year. Basically, Americans are going to be sent running naked through the cornfield backwards. And the rest of the world will continue growing their industrial might and polluting like there is no tomorrow, laughing all the way to the bank. America has food stamps though... Winning?!

By the way, it snowed 11/10/19 here in Michigan. We are setting lots of cold records for this time of the year. A lot of people are laughing about this global warming thing. To some, it looks just like another scam to steal wealth from the people and redistribute it to those who did not earn or toil for it.

How to stop climate change deniers from destroying the planet?

well that's easy....

stop making it look like a scam....and start blaming the countries and organizations that are causing it

but...as long as it's "we" have to do something....it screams scam...and no one is buying it

the UNIPCC was formed in 1988...the policies they put into place guaranteed that China/developing countries could increase their emissions....and they did!

"We"...the USA....emissions have fallen and are back where it was when the IPCC was formed..."we" are not causing global warming

emissions since 1988 > https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ederations.png

ALL their "fixes" are ECONOMIC, income and wealth redistribution. Carbon Taxes, Cap and Trade (Tax), and other measures to make the cost of ENERGY much higher. This will increase the COST of all goods and services to much higher levels as fossil fuel energy is needed in all production, services and the transportation of those goods and services.

The Man Made Alarmists can not answer these simple questions.

1. What percentage of Climate Change is due to MAN and what percentage is NATURAL?

2. What will the Tax and other Revenues be used for by GOVERNMENT to reduce climate change to an acceptable level? Where will the money go and what will it be used for?

3. What is an acceptable (normal) amount of climate change?

4. What happens if there is more NATURAL climate change?

Actually, the prices for many things will not rise, because they are not made here. And more things will be made elsewhere, so as not to upset consumers by causing price hikes. American workers and businesses will suffer, as they have been for 30 years now, much to the delight of do nothing democrats who have no skin in this game. As long as they can buy crap for rock bottom prices and lecture/wag their finger in the face of others, they don't have a care in the world about anyone but themselves.

B.S. Energy prices worldwide will go way up, and everything will be more expensive. Also, those goods made elsewhere need to be transported to here and then all over the U.S. by fossil fuel energy consuming trucks and trains.
