he checked in unexpectedly to walter reed today for a "partial physical". Is this a preparation to resign for "health reasons" and be pardoned by pence, or does he think something is wrong that needs to be remedied?

Either way, this bears watching.
Thanks so much for this post! I've been wondering a lot about his health, considering that he's an elderly man, overweight, with bad eating habits, in what must clearly be the most stressful situation in his life. There is everything wrong with his lifestyle, in terms of health, but I can't imagine him making any changes.
As to your question, I've felt that he might resign IF there was some way he could spin it as a victory.
And I'll also add that I don't think it would be unusual for the White House to down play a medical problem as a "physical," since if they admitted to something like a heart attack or panic attack, a lot of people would have hysterics. I thought it was admirable that Bernie immediately admitted to a cardiac problem.

It certainly is possible that the witch hunt going on for three years now may be causing stress-related ailments. It's amazing how much he's been able to accomplish with the Democrats demonizing him every step of the way.

I think he might resign if he was able to negotiate the terms; i.e. he would resign if it was in his own best interest.
....and the pathetic liberal begging and dreaming goes on.
You have to feel sorry for these desperate people. They have so little hope of anyone voting for them, they have to start using prescience and fortune-telling to brace each other up.
