I don't know - maybe we should start looking at Vindman's family.

The older brother...

Leonid Simon Vindman

Leonid Simon Vindman, Founder and Managing Partner, Tungsten Capital Advisors, has approximately thirty years of experience in the financial markets. During the past twenty five years, he has been focusing predominantly on Central Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia where he completed some of the biggest investment and advisory transactions in the region. He also completed transactions in the Middle East, and traveled extensively in Asia and Africa.

Prior to founding Tungsten he was a Managing Director responsible for investment banking origination and client coverage activities for Russia and CIS region at UniCredit Group – the largest international bank in Central and Eastern Europe at that time. Previously he worked as a Vice President Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase, Principal Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD), Senior Associate at Bankers Trust and Manager at Central Europe Trust.

He received his Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.

Who's going to be the best man for the job?

When it comes to foreign investment banking, the best man is the guy who can speak the language, comes from the territory, and knows what's what there.

None of that means the best guy is not an American patriot to the bone. Indeed, the best man possible will be the strongest patriot of the bunch. Because he's the most likely to desire Americans coming out ahead on any deal whenever possible.

Sorry, DRob. The Vindman family has all proved they're patriots from the bottom of their feet to the top of their heads. One brother chose a different way than the others, but that means nothing when it comes to the family's love for their adopted country.

Well we have smoke here. I can see where there is at least some reason to wonder just where this guys loyalty's lie.
And being called a patriot or a comrade doesn't mean ones motives aren't self serving or suspect.

This information would be on file at the White House already. You think The White House does not screen family and friends while working there? You guys are funny.

Just to apply for a job in the White House you have to fill that information out and keep it updated even if you’re active duty. That is why people like Kushner had to go back and amend their clearance forms and today some of them are still not technically cleared.

Hillary got 145 million dollars from Russia.. the democrats are selling out America. The Vindmans are from Russia and they both have been in Russia for much time. They could be working for Russia. We are being invaded by Communists in our colleges teaching our children. We see the fruit of it.. Socialism is on the rise with the college kids.

We have a coup going on to take down Trump. Why? So much corruption that Trump is stopping or scaring them .

Vindman who testified yesterday may have been flipped to becoming a Communist . I believe he is a Russian operative. He does not like Trump at all. Trump supplied Javelins to Ukraine. Obama would not.

By all accounts Vindman should love Trump, but he doesn't . Vindman wants him out. Vindman is against Trump policy for a strong Ukraine. Sounds like Vindman didin't want those Javelins put in. Why? He is a Russian operative. Vindman speaks Russian. I look at the motivation of Vindman to seek answers.

Looking at them for what, exactly?

The fact that one of the brothers' work centers around that area of the globe should be as unsurprising as the fact that LTC Vindman serves as a Ukrainian and Russian translator.

Vindman is from Ukraine, not Russia. Moderator cut: rude/personal attack

My older brother is involved in things I don't even understand and we live far from one another. We don't agree much on politics but we have a very cordial and faithful bond. He does what he does and I do what I do.

We have different careers, religions, politics and lifestyles. He was very well educated and I was not. What he thinks and does has no affect upon me, I don't follow slavishly along behind him like a puppy. I don't see how that can be so different in other families, I have never met another American family that was affected in the way you suggest.
