So now they promote this workout for him, where a bunch of teams were to watch him to see if his skills are still worthy of the NFL. Then at the last minute - he changes the terms, and he changes the venue from an NFL ready facility to a high school. Doesn't sound like someone who is thirsty for a job in the NFL.
Stephen a Smith gets it right. He wants to be a martyr. He wants to be an agitator. He wants to control his message. And Nike is sponsoring his efforts. They want to profit from his controversy.

I totally understand the bold... the NFL takes a physical toll on your body. The problem is that he is being phony.
I was actually ready to give him credit for taking the arrows and standing up for what he believes in - and sacrificing his career, even though I don't agree with him... but he's getting paid to do what he's doing, and now he is being manipulative. He lost the little bit of grace I was willing to give.
