Not quite.
I addressed that in another post.
Unless the witness was in a meeting with Trump and Rudy, where the witness actually heard instructions from POTUS, his testimony is irrelevant gossip.

Pence could well have been involved also.

Sondland says Pence knew about concerns over the hold on military aid to Ukraine

I have said a few times that the GOP is free to make the argument that, after Trump told Sondland to deal with Giuliani, Giuliani ran some type of rogue operation to benefit Trump's campaign unbeknownst to Trump. It would then be up to the voters to decide whether that claim is plausible given the attendant circumstances.
