Biden got a crooked prosecutor fired who refused to investigate corruption.
Hunter Biden is guilty of using nepotism to get a job that he wasn’t qualified for...something that’s ROUTINE in America for the children of the powerful and wealthy.
A quid pro quo isn’t wrong in and of itself. It’s wrong in Trump’s case because he held up congressional approved aid for 55 days in order to coerce the aid recipient to launch an investigation of his potential political rival...a rival that was killing Trump in early polling.
That’s why Trump is getting this abuse.
So...when Dems do it, it's ok. When a Republican president allegedly does it, the country is held hostage to a coup attempt?
Biden and other politicians (and Trump) can leverage their position of power to make quid pro quo deals. No one cares.
But if any of them tries to sell out our constitution or rights of citizens or anything to do with an election interference ... that isn't quid pro quo ... that is treason. Plain and simple.
How did he do that? Biden wasn't running against him. He's running for the nomination. And I'll remind you that the DNC rigged the last nomination for Hillary. So the DNC is guilty of what you claim Trump did.
I think in this case the quid pro quo gnaws at people's sense of right and wrong. Incumbency is already a huge advantage, and here we have a guy criminally using government money in an unintended way to try and increase his odds of being re-elected. If we want fair elections, then this type of behavior needs to be prohibited. Otherwise we'll become a corrupt one-party state like China.
And we're back to running for president is a get out of jail free card.
How so? President Trump has the FBI and DOJ at his disposal to investigate people he thinks need to be investigated. Even if those persons are running against him. All he has to have is a good reason to investigate.
LOL, the dem base had no clue what quid pro quo was...so they had to change the wording to "bribery"....LOL...
You grubers are amazing....
Well, we could dive into the different elements that when taken together constitute the crime of bribery, but something tells me it would be a waste of effort.
