That's a good thing, just because House Democrats pooped on the carpet, it won't do the country any good to rub their nose in it. There's more important work to be done than simply scoring political points, so I'd support moving on from this quickly.
Trump would do just fine. He's not constrained by truth. You forget what a "strength" that is if your goal is to avoid being held accountable for your actions.
But why would he call Schiff. Was Schiff a witness to the call? Was he in Ukraine? I thought that anyone that didn't have a written confession was just hear-say at best.

Very strange how you can label Schiff as "Shifty" when you support Donald Trump. If anyone fits that label, it would be Trump. Not just because of his dishonest makeup, but also because , from one day to the next, he will shift what he said he meant when he said something.
We are living in an upside down world right now. Honorable war veterans are questioned and draft dodgers are held up in esteem. Intelligent , loyal government employees are not believed, and a proven liar is suddenly a pillar of honesty. We celebrate corruption and attack those who try to tell us about it.

It goes towards justifying the actions of the president, the suggestion by those conducting the witch hunt is that there was no reason for Trump to do what he did other than personal gain....if they show that there was legitimate concerns in Ukraine....well it kills that narrative now doesn't it?

Whether or not Ukraine is corrupt has nothing to do with the subject of the impeachment. The impeachment is about the Trump administration's interactions with the Ukrainian government. Hunter is not affiliated with/connected to either government in any way.
