Avocados are rather bland. Mash up with some finely chopped onion, garlic, Serrano pepper and cilantro and it’s wonderful.
Yep. I always add just enough mayo to make it creamy.

They are not expensive either.

They are stupidly expensive (2$ for a piece of fruit?), but they are delicious. I eat them plain, with salt and pepper.

Probably in part due to the trend of legalization, they have a less captive black market.

Is that what YOU are saying? Because the post that you quoted didn't say it is fault. Just that he's too damn stupid to see what's happening. No blame was assigned by anyone other than you.

(Typical of a Trumpist, they can't argue what is said, so just mischaracterize it. It's what Trump did with the Mueller report and the Impeachment hearings. You are just following his dishonest example.)

What Mexican cartels do in Mexico doesn’t concern me in the least, nor do I care where my avocados come from.

Just have em in the store...fresh and ready to eat.

Avocados are overrated, though I do enjoy some good guac every once in awhile.

If you have hundreds of millions or billions laying around you need to do something with it. I forget the name but one of the cartel leaders back in the 80's was largest employer in one of those South American countries, it wasn't Escobar but he would of employed a lot of people in regular employment as well.

As far as the marijuana goes why bother trying to smuggle 100 pounds of weed worth $X when 100 pounds of coke is worth $XXXX. You are taking the same risk. Then you get it across the border and you are competing with a product that can easily be obtained legally or illegally from sources within that country anyway.
