They're really not that expensive (certainly cheaper than a steak), and they're incredibly healthy. My husband and I each use the 1 avocado a day, usually for breakfast. It also makes a much healthier substitute for butter.

Yep. Increased legalization of marijuana in the US and total legalization in Canada pretty much put them out of business with that.

Of course, the losers who were involved with that aren't just going to magically start living an honest lifestyle now, so it's no surprise to me they'll find a way to be bullies over even the most innocuous things. Nothing can really be done about that, but at least the issues are more confined to Mexico now.

Does that mean I’ll have to go to a street dealer when I’m jonesing for an avocado?

Americans are going out of control with the advocados and putting them on every food.

They are one of the healthiest foods so eat more of them than fried foods.

Hmmm, why do I expect to see a handful of 'avocado-related' injuries or deaths in the US? as a result of this! lol

Appropriate name boomer (just kidding)
Oh, Lordy. I missed that boomer bunch by years. My kids are boomers.

A few years ago they were shaking down citrus producers to such a degree that, at least here in the upper midwest, the price of limes quintupled.

They'd sell the tears of kittens poked with hot irons if there was a buck to be made.

So now it's also Trump's fault that the Mexican government is corrupt and allows the cartels to run wild in MEXICO?
