Who the heck is eating that many of them? They are stupidly expensive, and really don't taste all that great (relative to the cost anyway). Probably the same nitwits that spend $6 on a hipster coffee.
They're really not that expensive (certainly cheaper than a steak), and they're incredibly healthy. My husband and I each use the 1 avocado a day, usually for breakfast. It also makes a much healthier substitute for butter.
Cartels see more value in growing avocados than marijuana for export.
Yep. Increased legalization of marijuana in the US and total legalization in Canada pretty much put them out of business with that.
Of course, the losers who were involved with that aren't just going to magically start living an honest lifestyle now, so it's no surprise to me they'll find a way to be bullies over even the most innocuous things. Nothing can really be done about that, but at least the issues are more confined to Mexico now.
That just means the avocados in your area are of the peruvian/chilean kind not the ripe mexican kind. The peruvian/chilean have this bland taste like when you buy oranges and you get one that is nothing but pulp with very little juice. The mexican avocados are easy to smash and are buttery smooth.
Appropriate name boomer (just kidding)
Oh, Lordy. I missed that boomer bunch by years. My kids are boomers.
So now it's also Trump's fault that the Mexican government is corrupt and allows the cartels to run wild in MEXICO?
